Eluveitie

The music group Eluveitie listen to which every year joins the total number of fans, an increasing number of people - this is a Swiss metal folk band. The musical group Eluveitie, a concert in Ukraine with musical compositions, is characterized as death metal, combining motives with Celtic folk metal to a certain extent. The project was formed in 2002. The debut mini-compilation "Vên" was released in October 2003.
After some time, the team presented this album in the full version of Spirit. After 5 years, the group began an active collaboration with Nuclear Blast.
The first joint music collection Slania could be heard as early as 2008 in February. In the German charts, the album took 98th place, and in the Swiss charts it was at the honorable 35th place.
Musicians use various folk instruments in their creative activities. Many of the texts of their compositions were written in the Gallic dead language.
Eluveitie - this was the general name of the Helvetian tribe in translation into Russian.
After some time, the guys entered into an agreement with a recording studio from Holland Fear Dark, and in 2004 the aforementioned re-recorded Vên collection was already released.
The composition of the team was constantly changing, 7 out of 10 people left the group. As a result, Sevan Kirder, Meri Tadic and Christian Glanzmann were left three together awaiting new participants. They invited a total of six people, one of whom was Rafi, Sevan's brother, who became a bass player. Thus, the project already consisted of 9 musicians.
In 2006, the participants change again. Murphy Anna comes to replace Sarah Keener. In addition, the team decided that they would no longer need to play the violin from Linda Sutter. From now on, the group consisted of eight people.
On April 17, the presentation of the instrumental collection Eluveitie Evocation I: The Arcane Dominion took place. The lyrics were written exclusively in the Gallic language (the guys tried to restore it to the extent that it seemed possible).
4 years later, the team will present their next collection Eluveitie Everything Remains (As It Never Was). A video clip was filmed for the Thousandfold track.
The new record after this album was released in 2012. She recorded at a recording studio in Pfaffikon (located near Zurich).
Then, in 2014, another album is released again on the same label. Despite the fact that it went on sale on August 1, the participants managed to put it online on July 30th.
In 2016, in early May, three musicians, namely Sutter Merlin, Murphy Anna and Henzi Ivo announced that they were leaving the group.
Later it became known that these three members left with the aim of forming their own collective called Cellar Darling.
All the remaining concert performances, up to the concert in the Netherlands, the project played in the same lineup.
In 2016, the group announced that the female vocals at their live concerts will be performed by ex-vocalist of the Leaves' Eyes - Liv Christine.
Concert performances of the group eluveitie in 2018 will also take place in Ukraine, to the general joy of fans of the musical creativity of this group.
